SJREI wins 2011 National REIA Award of Excellence

NREIA Award of Excellence 2010 SJREI AssociationLeading real estate investor community, SJREI Association, won a highly prestigious award – the National REIA annual Award for Excellence for 2011 for best overall Real Estate Investors Association. The National REIA Awards for Excellence aim to encourage recognize and promote excellence and top performers in the real estate investor communities. Contributions to the real estate profession, innovation and community service were among the criteria for success in the National REIA Award for Excellence.

Geraldine Barry, President of SJREI Association, attended the awards ceremony in Tennessee. Ms. Barry graduated from the University of Southern California’s entrepreneurship program. She worked in a corporate environment before founding several companies in real estate and associated areas. In 2002, she founded the SJREI Association–the bay area’s premier real estate investor association with two chapters serving the bay area. Most recently she has leveraged her interest in real estate education to launch REI Voice Magazine–the voice of the profitable real estate investor; the REI Voice media site (www.reivoice.com); the annual Steel-toed Stilettos: Real Women Own Real Estate conference; and the annual SF Bay Real Estate Expo.

Ms. Barry is guest host of the radio program “Going Beyond Real Estate” broadcast on KDOW 1220AM; a frequent guest on the nationally broadcasted NTDTV; a sought after speaker and interviewer both on real estate education and motivational and entrepreneurship topics.

Ms. Barry reflected, “Over the past several years, SJREI has become a reliable source for solid, truthful analysis without the hype.
