Lori founded Summit in 2009, in light of the substantial REO opportunity, and has since grown her business into a vibrant and trustworthy turnkey purveyor of dependable passive income investments. Since that time, Summit has transacted in excess of 1,600 properties and routinely gives back to the communities in which it invests with generous donations to local homeless shelters. Today, Lori serves as president of Summit which employs numerous people and maintains a presence on both coasts, with over 40 team members on the ground in various cash flow markets such as Atlanta, Birmingham and Kansas City. Summit buys and sells single family, multi-family and commercial properties.

Lori is the owner and CEO of one of the country’s leading real estate organizations, SJREI Association. She also publishes the award-winning REI Voice Magazine. SJREI is noted for having won the highly prestigious “National REIA Annual Award for Excellence” in 2011 for best overall Real Estate Investors Association, and for receiving numerous Honor of Merit awards. REI Voice Magazine, which features notable columnists such as Dr. Christopher Thornberg and has spotlighted real estate notables including Pete Flint of Trulia, received the 2011 Honor of Merit Award for Printed Communications.

Lori brings over 25 years of real estate and entrepreneurial experience to her roles.  She was raised amidst the family environment of real estate investing: she has personally been buying and selling real estate since 1987. Her multi-strategy approach includes fix-and-flip, land banking, land to vertical development, rezoning, multifamily, single family sales, syndication, creating and buying notes. She has vast experience buying, selling, and managing properties nationwide.

Lori’s educational background complements her work today: she graduated Cum Laude from Moorhead State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minor in Computer Science.
