NANCY A. CHILLAG, is the founder of Chillag & Associates. Nancy has practiced law for over 25 years and is the founder of the law firm, Chillag & Associates, located in Menlo Park, California. In addition to being an attorney, Nancy is also a certified public accountant and real estate broker. Nancy has appeared as a guest on various cable television shows discussing real estate and construction legal issues. She has been a featured speaker for the National Association of Realtors, the American Business Women’s Association, Tri-County Apartment Association, Pacific Coast Builders’ Conference, Chamber of Commerce and various Boards of Realtors. Since 1996 Nancy has served as the legal columnist for Qualified Remodeler, a national trade magazine for the construction industry.

Nancy has published numerous legal articles in her areas of practice and has also published two books – How to Survive a Remodel  and Building by the Book: Legal Advice for Contractors.  Nancy is a long time real estate investor, holding residential, commercial and industrial properties. She and her husband, a general contractor, have rehabbed and flipped many properties. She brings her practical experience along with her legal knowledge to the table when advising real estate investors.
